The ACX5400 line of Universal Metro Routers is ideal for Ethernet service aggregation and packet-optical convergence. Built with metro service aggregation in mind, the ACX5400 line features 100GbE interfaces for network-to-network interface (NNI) uplinks. It fully supports E-Line, E-LAN, E-Tree, and E-Access, as well as IP-over-IP VPN services. The router supports your business with high-availability networking features such as unified in-service software upgrades (ISSU) and the Junos operating system for consistent delivery of mission-critical voice and video traffic.

The ACX5400 line also offers service virtualization on a dedicated, customizable, kernel-based virtual machine (KVM). The KVM executes operational scripts and programs for network performance monitoring and analysis.
