Threat protection can be expanded with optional subscription licenses to provide Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) and application visibility and control.

Optimized for network security processing, FirePOWER delivers breakthrough performance with purpose-built hardware acceleration technology and by using three separate data processing stages, each custom designed for particular workloads. While other Cisco FirePOWER 7000 Series Appliances provide fixed connectivity (either copper or fiber), the Cisco FirePOWER 7115 and 7125 appliances support mixed-media capabilities in 12 available ports-4 copper configurable-bypass ports and 8 non-bypass Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) socket ports. This mixed-media and increased port density easily integrate with your existing network environment and allow you to address more network configurations with a single device. The Cisco FirePOWER 7000 Series Appliances perfectly complement the higher-throughput Cisco FirePOWER 8000 Series Appliances.
