Important Cisco Policy Update
Cisco Pricing Policy Update
At Melbourne Global Systems, we are committed to keeping our customers informed of important updates from Cisco.
Due to ongoing global supply constraints in the memory and semiconductor market — largely driven by increased AI-related demand — the IT industry continues to experience rising component costs, extended lead times, and pricing volatility.
In response to these global market conditions, Cisco has implemented the following policy updates, effective immediately:
Key Policy Updates
Compute Order Cancellations
Cisco reserves the right to cancel Compute orders up to 45 days prior to shipment due to supply, cost, or market volatility.
Compute Price Adjustments
Cisco may adjust pricing on Compute orders if significant increases occur in component costs, manufacturing costs, tariffs, exchange rates, or other external factors beyond Cisco’s control between the order date and shipment date.
Quote Price Protection Changes
Cisco is updating its Quote Price Protection period. Further operational guidance will be communicated through official Cisco channels.
Our Commitment to You
As an authorised Cisco Partner, Melbourne Global Systems remains committed to:
- Transparent communication
- Monitoring price and lead-time changes
- Securing competitive pricing wherever possible
- Supporting proactive renewal and project planning
We recommend placing renewal or infrastructure orders early to avoid potential price increases.
If you have any questions regarding an existing quote, renewal, or upcoming project, please contact our sales team.
